Background

Hand harvested on 17 th April at just on 24ºBrix and in similar condition to the stellar V14 this 1ha, cool climate block is handled as one parcel from pick through ferment, maturation and to bottle. Planted in three small blocks, this 1ha block is on the slopes at the NW end of the vineyard. Thinned to one bunch per shoot under the watchful eye of Vineyard Manager Tom Topping to help manage the vigour to an acceptable level. 4 x barriques plus one puncheon were selected for their concentration, power and length. A powerhouse wine.
