Background

The Stonyfell name has been around the Australian wine scene since 1858, when Henry Clarke establised a winery in what is now suburban Adelaide. In 1920 following an association between the Martin family, then owners of Stonyfell, and the Salter family of Saltram wines, winery operations were transferred to the Barossa Valley, the current heartland of Stonyfell's production. In addition to creating classic Barossa and Langhorne Creek wines, Stonyfell specialises in sourcing premium grapes from great regions across Australia.
