Bird In Hand Blackbird Merlot 2015
Bird in Hand was named Adelaide Hills Winery of the Year at the Melbourne International Wine Competition 2014 and Winestate magazine's 2014 Winemaker of the Year. This well structured Merlot is named after the "Blackbird" goldmine near the town of Woodside, South Australia, where the Nugent family winery, vineyards and olive groves are situated. With a silky mouthfeel, it has ripe succulent fruit flavours of cherries, strawberries and plum, integrated with skillful oak usage.
Vasarelli Vineyards Family Reserve Mclaren Vale Shiraz 2016
Pat and Vicki Vasarelli don't make wine, but they grow some of the best grapes in South Australia's historic McLaren Vale district - and they also host some of the region's best lunches, using home-cured hams and salamis prepared according to recipes handed down through their Italian family. The 'Family Reserve' label is used only when the vintage is exceptional.
Ponder Olive Grove Marlborough Chardonnay 2016
Excellent length of flavour and lovely weighty complexity. A beautifully textured, warm palate with real length.

Ata Mara Central Otago Pinot Gris 2016
A beautiful varietal and vineyard expression from Ata Mara, a special site just off Wanaka Road in the Central Otago sub-region of Pisa. Gentle handling from grape to bottle has minimised any unwelcome phenolic extraction and the ferment was stopped at the perfect moment to beautifully balance acid and sugar. The harsh climate, low fertility soils and careful viticulture has enabled production of a wine with finesse and structure, showing excellent varietal character and fruit purity. This single vineyard beauty showcases everything we love about Central Otago Pinot Gris. Beautifully ripe fruit notes of pear syrup, pink grapefruit and white florals are abundant on the nose and the perfectly balanced palate has delicious length of flavour and a delicate, chalky texture.
Cape Campbell Reserve Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2016
This Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc produces classic Blind River greens with blackcurrant, fresh herbs, oyster shell and sea breeze aromatics. The palate experiences lively acidity, wrapped in snow pea and flint with a juicy moreish finish. Lovely texture from a portion of barrel ferment along with real intensity defines this Reserve wine.
Hawkesbridge Reserve Marlborough Pinot Gris 2017
This wowed the Tasting Panel as soon as the bottle was opened and quickly made the Wine of the Year Finalist list. It has classic super-ripe pear and baked apple aromas are backed by an intriguing suggestion of spicy shortbread. It has been made just off-dry, but there is an impressive amount of fruit concentration on the palate along with the variety's typically complex, oily texture. It's destined for greatness.
