The Sounds Marlborough Chardonnay 2017
Made and signed by Jo Gear who chose only premium parcels from the harvest of a single vineyard. This is a modern take on what still remains unashamedly Chardonnay. And it's sporting a refined and stylish new label
Hawkesbridge Reserve Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2018
Hawkesbridge is one of the finest boutique producers in the Marlborough region and it's no surprise with award-winning winemaker, Jo Gear, at the helm. This respected label features the region's most famous styles and their Sav Blancs just like this one, have become renowned for their clarity and purity of flavour.
Freeland Central Otago Pinot Noir 2017
Quintessentially Central Otago this wine represents the best of the fruit under James Dicey's watchful eye. As has been the case for the last two releases, this wine is entirely from James' own Pisa Moorings vineyard - an ugly-duckling site on the main highway beside a housing subdivision that delivers this swan of a wine.
Mockingbird Hill Slate Lane Clare Valley Shiraz 2016
Like any good Shiraz, this wine is no shrinking violet, but it's the way Matthew Reimann has combined a sense of elegance and finesse with big, beautiful Shiraz flavours that sets it apart. It speaks proudly of to the Clare Valley's rich winemaking history; a classic in the making.
Gibbston Highgate Estate Lovemaker Central Otago Rose 2018
A modern-styled Rosé - drink with your eyes! It's super-ripe on the nose showing the beautifully fruit notes that this amazing region can produce. The palate is surprising - after that lush nose it is deliciously dry. There is a defined acid line that delivers very good length and a modern edge to the ripe fruit profile.
