Hawkesbridge Marlborough Pinot Noir 2017
At our blind tasting Vic gave this a Gold-medal score and said, "Crushed plums and cherries on the nose. Big fruit on the palate with perfect oak integration. A very smart mouthful of wine."
Rohrlach Barossa Merlot 2016
A lovely Barossa Merlot by the renowned Rohrlach with charry toasted oak characters and soft velvety tannins adding depth to the full-flavoured fruit character. It's a long and lingering wine that will make a great partner to red meat dishes.
Vasarelli Maria's Table Currency Creek Sangiovese 2016
If anyone knows how to get the very best out of the Italian Sangiovese variety, it is Pat and Vicki Vasarelli - and they've certainly done that here. This example of this most Italian of varieties is full of red berry fruit and dark cherry flavours, with a supple texture and fine chalky tannins. It's bellissimo!
