Babich Family Reserve Hawkes Bay Syrah 2014 From the Babich Irongate and St John vineyards in the Hawke's Bay region, this wine offers delicate raspberry and floral flavours in a light, fresh and peppery style.
The Sounds Marlborough Pinot Noir 2015 Crafted from the fruit of two Awatere vineyards, this barrel-aged Pinot has red-berry and cigar box aromas with hints of tobacco.
Instinct By Pask Winemakers Selection Hawke's Bay Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2014 Kate Radburnd is one of the country's most experienced winemakers, and her appointment as Chief Judge for the annual Royal Easter Wine Show competition - the country's oldest - is an indication of the respect she has from her peers. She sure knows her stuff, and we're delighted that she's made this exclusively for you.
Lil Rippa Hawkes Bay Syrah 2015 The Gimblett Road sub-region of Hawkes Bay is renowned for producing top-notch Kiwi classics, and this Syrah is a shining example of exactly that. Big, bold and beautifully coloured, this is undoubtedly a must-try for red wine fans.
Omahu Hawkes Bay Merlot 2015 From another good year in Hawkes Bay and from the famed Gimblett Road growing area, this is a fleshy, ripe Merlot with an appealing palate to be enjoyed now or over the next 3-5 years.
Coopers Creek Limited Release Gisborne Malbec 2015 The fruit for this wine came from the Bell Family vineyard in Hexton, just on the outskirts of Gisborne city. This was the first crop off a block which was planted with a new clone of Malbec called the 'Dr Rod Clone' named after Dr Rod Bonfiglioli, an enthusiastic vinophile who helped transform NZ wine as we know it. Vintage 2015 was one of the best in recent history for red grapes in Gisborne and summer seemed to go on and on, allowing fabulous colour and flavour development. This is a real treat for red wine fans.
Cable Station Road Marlborough Pinot Gris 2016 Good fruit richness on the entry with lovely textural support and good acid line delivering excellent length of flavour
Awanui Hawkes Bay Chardonnay 2015 This generous Chardonnay is from a single vineyard on Gimblett Road, a sub-region in Hawkes Bay that was once destined to be a quarry, but local growers and winemakers petitioned the authorities to change its designation. It is best-known for reds, but white grapes perform equally well on local soils as this stylish Chardonnay shows.
Cape Campbell Marlborough Pinot Gris 2016 An Awatere wine, and predominantly the super-cool Blind River, this is classic cool climate purity and brightness. Crops were heavy in Marlborough this year but a very favourable April weatherwise meant well-ripened fruit. The naturally low-cropping vines and dry conditions meant the Blind River benefitted even more with small, richly flavoured berries.
Esk Valley The Plains Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2016 This is a full bodied Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, exhibiting ripe tropical fruit characters, intermingled with hints of herbs and citrus. The wine is rich, dry and full flavoured and its crisp acidity offers a wide range of food matching options.
Kahurangi Estate Heaphy Series Nelson Sauvignon Blanc 2016 Despite a low yield season for the Nelson region, the results to come out of select vineyards is amazing - including this one. Vibrant, pure, and deliciously tropical, enjoy this magnificent Savvy chilled with your favourite seafood or on a hot Sunday afternoon.
Ten Rocks By Lawson's Dry Hills Marlborough Riesling 2015 This beautiful wine comes from Lawson's Waihopai vineyard where they have been producing excellent Riesling for the last decade. It's got lemon and red apple flavours with appealing richness, showing concentration and great length.
