Riparian Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2017
Winemaker Simon Nunns describes this as the 'essence of Marlborough' - a dash of this and a pinch of that all adds together to give create a wine of great concentration and complexity.
The Rocks Marlborough Riesling 2017
A deliciously drinkable single-vineyard Riesling from a cooler-than-usual vintage in Marlborough. Farmed by the hugely experienced Willie Crosse on his heartland Rapaura vineyard he managed to produce beautifully ripe fruit with good structure and varietal purity. Just off-dry, there is lovely acid line delivering a long, mineral-edged finish with loads of flavour.
Three Ducks Gisborne Chardonnay 2016
From the national homeland of Chardonnay, this is obviously chardonnay but with a modern twist.
Three parcels of ripe fruit, fermented and aged on full lees with varying degrees of solids and MLF but no oak has resulted in a modern-edged wine with obvious varietal hallmarks. Funk and toast notes, flint and grapefruit plus some complexity with a nice toasty finish. It's all there!
Zenith Gisborne Pinot Gris 2016
Pear drop and baked apple with a hint of white flowers, creaming soda and marzipan
Cable Station Road Marlborough Pinot Gris 2017
From a very cool season this is predominantly Awatere Pinot Gris with a warmer-styled Wairau component to bring some flesh and weight. Some residual fruit sweetness provides beautiful balance and that lovely Awatere acidity delivers excellent length.
Willowbrook Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2017
Richly-fruited entry balanced by fresh Awatere acidity that integrates well delivering a lovely salty crunch on the finish. Flavourful and refreshing
