The Sounds Marlborough Riesling 2018
The second release of Riesling under The Sounds brand since 2008 is from Willie Crosse's fantastic Riesling block. It's made in a "classic" style where we have doggedly persevered with making low alcoholhigh sugar wines in the face of adversity. This wine proves why.
Turnstone Marlborough Pinot Gris 2018
Made in collaboration with the respected team at Gosling Creek Vineyard, a magic site on a river terrace plateau below the Black Birch range in the upper Awatere Valley. Dryer styled it shows tremendous concentration and finesse.
Hawkesbridge Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2017
The 2014 vintage was voted our customers' 2014 White Wine of the Year and the 2015 and 2016 vintages were multi-medal winners. You can bet this 2017 edition continues the trend of excellence.
Aspiring Flats Central Otago Trio 2017
The second release of this summer-in-a-bottle white impressed the judges at the Royal Easter Wine Show. Our own Tasting Panel described it as having an "attractive slippery entry, a very appealing delicacy and very good length of flavour. Yum "
Le Rose By Alma Cersius Languedoc Rose 2017
"Tall, skinny-skittle-shaped bottle. Pale prawn-shell pink. Floral, watercolour nose - jasmine, and spring strawberries. Almost minty-fresh on the palate. Very lifted and dancing! Lemony fruit with a touch of parma violets and the lightest trace of strawberries. Bright lemon-drop acid. Not complex or long, but it's fun and light-hearted." Jancis Robinson
