The Remarkables Central Otago Pinot Noir 2017

Pierre Montaillac Cotes Du Rhone 2016
A lovely intensely coloured blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre from the Cotes du Rhone. This has seen no oak and is full of fresh berry characters - it's ideal for summer sipping.
The Sounds Marlborough Méthode Traditionnelle 2015
A return to the Chardonnay-dominant blend that we are accustomed to with this Méthode, it is again modern in style with the high proportion of Chardonnay delivering an elegance and refinement that is very appealing. As for previous vintages this wine is on the dryer side of Brut showing lovely complexity and flint.
Vasarelli Vineyards Family Reserve Mclaren Vale Shiraz 2016
Pat and Vicki Vasarelli don't make wine, but they grow some of the best grapes in South Australia's historic McLaren Vale district - and they also host some of the region's best lunches, using home-cured hams and salamis prepared according to recipes handed down through their Italian family. The 'Family Reserve' label is used only when the vintage is exceptional.
Tolley The Trustees Tawny 500ml NV
This is a very special release of a remarkable Tawny from the award wining Tolley label. Made from selected parcels of fruit sourced from grape growing regions renowned for their fortified wines this Tawny is rich and complex with lots of sweet, nutty flavours restrained by the excellent acidity and dry old oak tannin finish.
Hawkesbridge Reserve Marlborough Pinot Gris 2017
This wowed the Tasting Panel as soon as the bottle was opened and quickly made the Wine of the Year Finalist list. It has classic super-ripe pear and baked apple aromas are backed by an intriguing suggestion of spicy shortbread. It has been made just off-dry, but there is an impressive amount of fruit concentration on the palate along with the variety's typically complex, oily texture. It's destined for greatness.
Zenith Gisborne Pinot Gris 2018
A dry styled wine with ripe fruit weight and good balance offering very good drinkability. Fresh and well-balanced with good fruit ripeness it will be an excellent food wine and a nice aperitif.
Francois Montand Methode Traditionnelle Blanc De Blancs Brut NV
A glass of this Francois Montand Brut is a great way to start any celebration or meal, and it's a fine accompaniment for salads and sunshine. Elegant, refined and traditional while offering exceptional value.
Whisper Rock Gisborne Chardonnay 2018
Whisper Rock is always a Tasting Panel and customer favourite - and this release is no exception. It's a fruit-focused Chardonnay with a smooth silky finish that showcases ripe Chardonnay grapes from sunny Gisborne.
Cape Campbell Marlborough Rose 2018
The uniquely-striped Cape Campbell lighthouse stands sentinel at the southern entrance to New Zealand's Cook Strait. At the same latitude is Cape Campbell's original vineyard - also unique because it was the first in the Blind River sub-region of Marlborough's Awatere Valley. This trailblazing spirit creates wines that are full of character and distinctly Marlborough.
Lobster Reef Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2017
A blend of three parcels of fruit, the majority from the outstanding Blind River and the smaller one a heartland-Rapaura vineyard site. Blind River, a super-cool Awatere sub-region is elevated and windy and delivers distinctive grassy greens, boxhedge and that elusive seabreeze element. The warmer Wairau portion adds some flesh to the palate to bring weight round that wonderful mineral core.
Crackerjack Merlot 2017
With its laidback style and colloquial name, this is a great drop to share with friends over a barbecue.
