Cable Station Road Marlborough Pinot Noir 2015
We love the Cable Station Road team and they love crafting super every-day drops that are sure to surprise. This elegant, easy-drinking Pinot Noir is a gem and absolutely fantastic value for its very reasonable price.
Paradox Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2016
Sourced entirely from the Awatere, the new frontier of the Sauvignon Blanc variety in Marlborough with a small portion from the super cool and super-flavourful Blind River sub-region of the Awatere Valley. A small portion of this blend was barrel fermented in older oak barriques which has given this wine excellent texture and an x-factor.
Awanui Hawkes Bay Chardonnay 2015
This generous Chardonnay is from a single vineyard on Gimblett Road, a sub-region in Hawkes Bay that was once destined to be a quarry, but local growers and winemakers petitioned the authorities to change its designation. It is best-known for reds, but white grapes perform equally well on local soils as this stylish Chardonnay shows.
Lobster Reef Marlborough Pinot Gris 2016
Well-textured with good fruit richness but in a dry-styled wine. There is plenty of flavour and warmth and a satisfyingly long finish.
Alma Casa Monastrell Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
Grapes for this stylish Spanish dry red are hand selected from the Yecla region, granted D.O. (Denominación de Origen) status, authenticating its status as quality assured wine region. This Gold medal red is perfect to sip with Mediterranean dishes, its fruit-filled character and dry finish offering the perfect accompaniment.
Paragon Mclaren Vale Shiraz 2015
A real mouthful of flavour, blackberry, blackcurrant and dark plum fruits balanced by fine grained almost sandy oak tannins. The finish is long and stylish.
