What is a Wine Plan?


A Wine Plan takes the hassle out of buying wine. You simply choose the Wine Plan that suits your taste and budget, and then our team of wine experts take care of the rest.

You will receive an agreed number of cases of wine automatically each year (unless you decide to skip a delivery).

You’ll discover new and exciting wines (both big brands and boutique discoveries) with each new automatic delivery, allowing you to sit back, relax and never have to worry about being caught short of wine again.

How does it work?

  • Receive a notification by email 2 weeks prior to each delivery (select plans only, all plans will receive a dispatch email, allowing time for change to delivery if necessary)

Why should I join a Wine Plan

All of our Wine Plans are hand selected and vetted by our wine experts. Wine Plan customers get priority access to the best wines in the business. We would never send you anything we wouldn't drink ourselves. Discover new and exciting varieties and styles, all backed by our Tasting Guarantee, with detailed tasting notes on all wines.

Do I pay a membership or subscription charge?

No, there are no membership or subscription charges. You will simply be charged the cost of your selected Wine Plan(s) plus delivery, if applicable. You will also have the opportunity to skip or change your Wine Plan but this must be done prior to the dispatch date, otherwise you will be automatically charged the cost of your selected Wine Plan(s) plus delivery if applicable.

How do I pay for my wine plan?

The card we hold on file for you will be charged the cost of the wine plus delivery when each delivery that you do not skip or cancel is dispatched from our warehouse in Auckland.

When am I charged?

You are charged when your Wine Plan case is dispatched from our warehouse, using your payment details we have on file. For some plans, you will receive an email & letter notification around two weeks prior to the dispatch date to let you know that your wine will be leaving our cellar soon. The email will give you a date that you need to make any changes to your delivery by, this includes adding to your order, skipping a delivery or cancelling your participation in the wine plan before the card we hold on file for you is charged. For all Plans, you will receive a dispatch email, which still allows you a couple of days to change your delivery if you wish.

When are the deliveries?

Each Wine Plan has different delivery months. Please view your selected Wine Plan(s) on the website for all delivery details. In addition, you can login online, or call the Wine Plans Team on 0800 80 9463.

How do I know when my case is coming?

For select Plans, we will send you an email & letter notification two weeks before your case is due to leave the warehouse. The email will give you a date that you need to make any changes to your delivery by, this includes adding to your order, skipping a delivery or cancelling your participation in the wine plan before the card we hold on file for you is charged. Regardless of which Plan you’re on, you will always receive a dispatch email notifying you that your allocation has been dispatched, BUT you are still allowed to change your delivery for a short time after that if you wish. 

Do I pay for delivery?

Some Wine Plans have a delivery fee and some have delivery included. Please visit the Wine Plan pages for more information or give us a call on 0800 80 9463. You can find out the delivery charges in your area by using our delivery calculator.

How do I cancel my Wine Plan?

How can I skip a delivery of my Wine Plan?

You can login to your account online or give us a call on 0800 80 9463.
Skipping online - Login to your account > Select Wine Plans > Select Edit > Set Number of cases to "0" (zero)

What are the additional benefits of being on a Wine Plan?

A Wine Plan ensures you get the best wine at the best price. Wine Plan customers also get exclusive, priority access to new release wines, latest vintages and limited releases. Wine Plans customers may also receive exclusive reward offers. 

How can I change my Wine Plan?

You can skip your delivery or increase the number of cases that you would like delivered by logging into your account or give the Wine Plans Team a call on 0800 80 9463.

Can I get other items sent to me with my Wine Plan delivery?

Absolutely! Please give your Wine Plans Team a call and they will help you by adding additional wines to your Wine Plan delivery so that you can receive them all at once and can take advantage of included delivery if applicable. They also will be able to tell you about specials that are available exclusively to Wine Plan customers.

Can I increase or reduce the number of Wine Plan cases sent to me?

Of course you can! Go online or give the Wine Plans Team a call on 0800 80 9463.
Increasing/decreasing the number of your Wine Plan cases is easy. Follow these steps; Login to your account > Select Wine Plans > Select Edit > Set Number of cases "0-5" (zero will skip your upcoming delivery)

Where do I get my tasting notes?

They will arrive in your case, if applicable. If for some reason your tasting notes are not in your case, we apologise! Please give your Wine Plans Team a call and they will post a copy to you. Please note that some Wine Plan deliveries do not come with tasting notes.
