The latest issue of Cuisine is out with their annual Pinot Gris and Riesling tasting - and it was a real coup for us!
Our exclusive Gibbston Highgate Estate, Turnstone and Lobster Reef black label Pinot Gris were placed number one, two and five in the Top 5 of the tasting, and our Crosse Riesling was their number five.
That’s cause for celebration - to have one wine named in the Top 5 is brilliant; to have four is unheard of.
The star is the Gibbston Highgate Estate Central Otago Pinot Gris. Not only was it awarded 5 stars and the number one spot from 122 entries, but it is also the judges’ Best Buy.

"This wonderfully ripe expression of pinot gris has spice, freshness energy and depth. The appealing lively aromas open out to a creamy palate reminiscent of vanilla custard yet still holding a tight form.
