Once again a full bodied palate showing juicy blackberries, dark cherries and liquorice characters with hints of white paper and exotic spices in the background.
Palate:
A generous wine with a seamless structure, layered with supple ripe tannins, fleshy fruits and a warm lingering finish.
Background:
Xanadu was established by John Lagan, an Irishman, who arrived in Margaret River in 1968 and was inspired by the pioneering spirit of the region. At the time, the potential of Margaret River as one of the worlds finest wine-producing regions was only just being considered. John established one of the regions earlier vineyards planting his first vines in 1977.
