Foods: This makes a stunning partner for cured meats and tomato-based pasta dishes or tender roast spring lamb.
Oak: American and French oak, new and one year old.
Colour: Cherry red with crimson hues.
Nose: Redolent of dark, dusty chocolate and ripe plums with a strong spicy oak notes.
Palate: Medium bodied with lifted ripe plummy fruit, fresh dark berries and charry oak notes. Firm yet fine tannins add structure, it is a wine that drinks well now and will do so for up to about five years of age.
