Palate: A lively mouth filling wine with a lifted ripe citrus, perfume and apricot. It has the perfect balance between natural sweetness and refreshing acidity.

Background:

The 2009 growing season was long with warm days with cool nights providing perfect conditions for producing a classic Central Otago Riesling. The fruit is 100% Central Otago sourced from the Cromwell basin sub-region.The fruit was carefully hand harvested, de-stemmed, crushed and gently pressed to tank for cold settling.The juice from each batch was cool fermented separately in stainless steel vats to retain fruit character. The wine was fermented to 15.7gl residual sugar and racked off yeast lees and blended to keep the wine fresh and focused. Download as PDF
