This bright, fresh wine gives out pleasant aromas of lifted tropical fruit, some citrus and a lovely balance of herbaceous leafiness with hints of cut grass.

Although this refined wine is fairly light bodied, it still delivers a lovely whack of flavour on the palate, with mouthwatering acidity adding structure to the flavoursome finish.
Background:
This Coonawarra based winery was established in 1955 by James Haselgrove, one of the first winemakers to recognise the potential for the red wines of the region. Since then the company has produced many classic reds, winning two Jimmy Watsons and numerous other Australian and International trophies. It is now a part of the giant Mildara Blass Wine group, a formidable Aussie success story. Their main brand is Jamiesons Run, which in the space of four vintages established itself as a market leader of its style, picking up a Jimmy Watson Trophy along the way, attesting to the winemaking skills behind it. Their other wines are truly representative of region and variety.
