Foods: This is at home with light summer lunches on the deck. Pair with seafood or Asian-influenced cuisine.
Oak: Nil.
Colour: Bright straw.
Nose: Fragrant, perfumed nose, reminiscent of mandarin, white peach and exotic blooms such honeysuckle and jasmine. Hints of beeswax, wheat beer and flint add complexity.
Palate: Gently off-dry, juicy palate with classical ripe Marlborough Riesling flavours of mandarin orange and peach. The finish is mouthwatering with lingering citrus fruits and a dancing acidity which is balanced perfectly with the residual sweetness.
