Foods: Roast fillet of beef with all the trimmings.
Oak: American and French oak.
Colour: Intense, attractive deep ruby purple.
Nose: Lifted aromas of ripe blackberry, plums and spice aniseed notes, complexed by hints of smoky vanillin oak.
Palate: Big and rich with the full bodied flavours following on from the rich nose complexed by integrated savoury notes and abundant blackberry and plum fruit. Lengthy, firm tannins add structure to the persistent finish.
