Like all young Syrah/Viogniers, this wine is stunningly bright in the glass. A vibrant red/purple leads to a deep core.
Nose:
Wonderful dark fruit aromas along with a touch of dried herb and oak. The Viognier component adds a touch of fragrance.
Palate:
It's sweet-fruited with gentle, fully integrated tannins adding just the right amount of grip for the style. (Wines from this vineyard always have a superb tannin structure. The wine is midweight, rounded and long.)
