Lifted plum, spice, touch of mintiness backed up by restrained vanillin oak characters.
Palate:
Rich flavours of stewed plum, blackcurrant and hints of mint and spice are balanced by grippy tannins and subtle oak. Excellent length of flavour.
Background:
A.V. (Diddy) Potts (1902 - 1989) was Frank Potts grandson and had a lifetime interest in photography, exhibiting his work, both nationally and internationally. He was also a winemaker at Bleasdale for fifty years. The photographs featured on the Potts family labels represent a selection of his best work.
